How our Pokémon sets are built

Our MEGA Pokémon building sets come in a few families. The Poké Ball series pairs one small, poseable Pokémon with its buildable ball — Great Ball, Love Ball, Level Ball — so kids can collect a whole team. Evolution sets build three stages side by side, and trainer team packs bring several poseable Pokémon into one box for battle play.

For bigger builders there are Build & Show figures, motion builds with cranks that move wings, tails and mouths, and pixel-art pieces that hang on the wall like a retro sprite. Every MEGA Pokémon set uses the same bricks, so a Charmander from the Poké Ball series can stand next to a jumbo Charizard on the same shelf.

Most Pokémon sets are marked ages 6 and up; motion and pixel builds with hundreds or thousands of pieces are aimed at teens and adult collectors. Piece counts and ages are listed on every product page.

Questions about MEGA Pokémon building sets

What age are MEGA Pokémon sets for?

Poké Ball figures and small evolution sets are for ages 6 and up. Motion builds and pixel art with large piece counts are marked for older kids and adult collectors.

Do MEGA Pokémon figures move?

Yes — most small figures are poseable, and the motion series adds a crank or gear that moves wings, tails or mouths.

Are the Poké Balls buildable?

Yes. Each Poké Ball series set includes a buildable ball that opens, so the figure can be stored inside it.
